2018 Holiday Art Sale at 30 Cutler Street

The Cutler Mill

30 Cutler Street

Warren, RI 02885

The Second Annual “Holiday Art Sale at 30 Cutler” of 2018 will be held on Saturday, November 24th from 11-4 pm and Sunday, November 25th from 11 am- 3 pm.

The Mill at 30 Cutler Street is home to many small businesses and individual artists who would like to invite the public to shop local and small during this two day event.  This event is open and free to the public. Warren is a very shop-small conscious community!

There will be a $40 participation fee to be collected upon acceptance to the Holiday Sale (instructions to follow to all those accepted). The show is juried – please send 3 jpeg images of work, a brief description of your work, your mailing address (preference to local artists) and price range to ArtistsAt30Cutler@gmail.com by September 15th. You will receive a notification by September 30th.

Each vendor will have at least a 5 by 8 foot space to set up within. Vendors must provide own tables, chairs, and equipment, however there are a limited amount of 6’ and 8’ tables available to rent (inquire within application email).  There is no access to electricity. Each vendor will have a wall behind them where they can hang work but will need to bring own tools/hanging equipment if they plan on using that space. There is no building wifi so please plan ahead (in regards to cell phone data) if using a credit card processor during the event.

Artists need to have a permit to make sales in RI, or purchase a temporary RI Sales Tax ID number for the dates. Art sales are tax exempt in RI with correct certification that each artist must obtain individually.

The sale hours are from 11-4 pm Saturday and 11-3 pm Sunday.  Check in will be on the 2nd floor of the Cutler Mill building starting at 9:30 (use the Tower Entrance). Please check in by 10 am Saturday and no later than 10:45 on Sunday. There is no elevator in the building but there is a loading dock with conveyor belt and carts if needed.

No one is allowed to break down before the close of the event at 4pm on Saturday and at 3pm on Sunday. You may leave your booth set up overnight at your own risk. The building is locked to the public at the close of the festival, only artists in the building have access to the space after the event. Many artists will leave their work set up or pack up inventory under the table or just bring expensive inventory home overnight.
